Subjects: archetypal Pictorialist
What makes this photographer unique: He photographed things that felt personal and because he had limited funds and time to take photographs, he staged each of his photographs down to the smallest details.
Why did you choose this photographer?: his work is incredibly detailed and though it appears simple, the reality is they are difficult photographs to imitate because of his planning and precision.
How did the photographer inspire you?: I found different new ways to photograph people in a way that can tell a story and incorporate nature without it becoming too much of a landscape photograph.
How did this change while working on the project?: The only thing that changed was the way I started to control light source the pictures to highlight the subject better.
